Novak Djokovic kicks off 2017 in the first half of the
season. On Saturday (January 7th), the Serbian won the tournament in Doha (ATP
250), beating in the final the one who dethroned him from his place of world
number one in Last November, Britain's Andy Murray (6-3, 5-7, 6-4). The latter
remained on 28 consecutive successes, including one of prestige in the final of
the Masters against the "Djoker". "Angry Andy" still keeps
his place of world number one before Djokovic, who retains his title acquired
last year in Qatar and now counts 25 victories in 36 games against Murray. Both
will be highly anticipated for the first Grand Slam tournament of the season:
the Australian Open in Melbourne from 16 to 29 January. In Australia, the Serb
has already beaten the British four times in the final.
