The Nigerian
midfielder, John Obi Mikel, said goodbye Friday to fans of Chelsea, his club
since 2006, announcing on social networks leaving for China and club Tianjin
Teda. "I feel it's time for me to take on a new challenge. I am delighted
to join Tianjin Teda FC in China at a time when the
Chinese Super League is
really taking off, "the 29-year-old said. "After ten years, 374
matches and eleven titles, it's time for me to say goodbye," added the
Nigerian who had joined Chelsea at the age of 19 from Norway.
